Pediatric cancer is a leading killer of kids in our country. This is not OK!!! We need to fight harder than it does! We have to fund research AND support kids and families who are battling its effects every day.

With our Cuddle Bear drive this month, we are donating proceeds to the Scott Carter Foundation to pursue treatments and methods to END cancer! But THAT’S NOT ALL… we’re also giving sets of Cuddle Bear books and stuffed bears to hurting kids. Each sponsored set will directly go to a child at Texas Children’s Hospital BMT (Bone Marrow Transplant) Unit with the help of His Grace Foundation. What a comfort to have a story about being loved AND a bear that you can hold onto when you’re going through a hard and scary time. Sometimes, it’s the little things that mean the most: the cuddles and hugs that get you through fear and pain. His Grace Foundation is an AMAZING Foundation that helps over 200 families a year. They have been an instrumental piece of the transplant process and reaching the door of being able to get released from the extensive hospital stay and start getting better at home. I can first hand give you an account after account of how His Grace was there for my family when we were going through transplant with Sebastian. It’s people like His Grace who give so much without even knowing, lots of times their efforts go without a Thank you but helping them help other families is our way of saying THANK YOU! Thank you His Grace for being God’s hands and feet in the midst of the storm!

The company I work with, Usborne Books & More, is matching our donations at 50% once we get 10 Sponsors!!! How amazing is that?! That means for every set you purchase they donate an additional bear or book AND they give to cancer research!!! Your impact is getting multiplied!! Our GOAL is $1000!
